“Musical Life of the Late Middle Ages in the Austrian Region” is a research project at the University of Vienna, funded by the Fonds Wissenschaftliche Forschung. An international and interdisciplinary team of researchers led by Birgit Lodes (University of Vienna), Reinhard Strohm (University of Oxford) and Marc Lewon (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis) is developing and communicating new insights into musical culture in the region of Austria in the period from ca. 1340-ca. 1520. – The English version of the website is still in progress. If a content is not yet available in English, the German version will be shown. On the English site, some of the references and filters are not active yet.
